THAT RECOMMENDED DATE WOULD BE THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 12TH, 2026 AT 7:00 PM AND I DON'T KNOW IF SOMEBODY WANTS TO SPEAK ON THIS, JERRY OR ANYBODY, OR DO WE, MR. CHAIRMAN, WE, UH, WE'VE GOT, UH, THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, THE FIRE AND, UH, REPRESENTING THE FIRES MARSHAL'S OFFICE.

AND SHE FITS, WILL LET YOU KNOW, I GUESS, OR I CAN TELL YOU THAT THE MISCELLANEOUS, UH, FIRE EXTINGUISHERS NEED TO BE THROUGHOUT THE BUILDING AND SMOKE DETECTOR.

WHAT I'M SAYING THERE'S NO, NO REAL FIRE HAZARDS WITH THE ELECTRICAL ORE.

I DON'T YOU'RE STILL INTENDING TO CLOSE THE SECOND STORY OFF, CORRECT? WELL, WE DON'T NEED IT.

A REALLY SMALL CONGREGATION AT THE MOMENT.

SO IT'S ACTUALLY LOCKED JUST TO KEEP THE KIDS FROM RUNNING UPSTAIRS AND NOT BEING ABLE TO LOCATE THEM FOR THEIR SAFETY.

WE JUST LOCKED IT UP.

I'VE BEEN UP THERE ONCE SINCE JUNE 27TH.

I DON'T SEE NO ISSUE WITH IT BEING THAT IT WAS A CHURCH.

AS LONG AS THEY BRING IT UP TO THE STANDS, BRING IT, BRING IT UP TO EVERYTHING THAT OUR INSPECTORS AND, AND OUR POWER MARSHALS THAT NEED, NEED TO BE DONE.

I MEAN, WHAT ELSE ARE YOU GOING TO USE THAT BILL AS I KNOW THIS IS ALL COMMERCIAL, BUT IT'S BEEN A CHURCH SINCE WHEN GERALD? 70 YEARS BEFORE I WENT .

SO IF, IF I CAN REAL QUICK, JUST IN CASE THE QUESTION COMES UP, THERE WAS SOME QUESTION AND SOME CONFUSION ABOUT THE NEED FOR A SPRINKLER SYSTEM BECAUSE IT IS GOING TO CONTINUE TO OPERATE AS A CHURCH.

IT DOES NOT NEED IT, IT STAYS UNDER THE OLD, UH, REQUIREMENTS OF THE 300 VERSUS THE NEW REQUIREMENTS OF A HUNDRED.

IF IT WAS TO CHANGE TO SOME DIFFERENT TYPE OF BUSINESS, WHICH IT'S NOT, THEN IT WOULD HAVE TO BE SPRINKLED.

BUT DUE TO ITS REMAINING A CHURCH, THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT FOR IT TO BE SPRINKLED.

AND SHE DOES MEET ALL, SHE WILL BE MEETING ALL THE OTHER FIRE CODE REQUIREMENTS.

YEAH, THE OTHER FIRE CODE STUFF IS PRETTY MINIMAL.

ONCE SHE'S GOT THAT STUFF DONE, UH, THE FIRE MARSHAL WILL GO AND, AND REINSPECT IT AND CHECK OFF ON EVERYTHING.

DOES THAT HAVE A FIRE PANEL IN THERE TO TELL YOU WHAT ZONE? IF THERE IS SMOKE IN THE KITCHEN OR IN THE, NO, NO SIR.

CHURCH? NO SIR.

NO.

NONE OF THE ABOVE.

NO, SIR.

WE HAVE INSTALLED, UM, THE, UM, CARBON MONOXIDE AND SMOKE DETECTORS, ALL OF THE, UM, FIRE EXTINGUISHERS, ALL BRAND NEW AND THEY'VE BEEN TAGGED IN FREEPORT.

UM, ALSO THE ONLY REASON WE HAVE NOT DONE THE ELECTRICAL AT THE MOMENT IS BECAUSE THERE'S SIX EXIT LIGHTS.

THE, UM, PRIOR SUP THAT WE DID FALL BACK IN JULY, THE FOURTH THIRD, UM, WE HAD A LIST OF THE EXITS AND WE DID THOSE.

BUT NOW THESE ARE NEW EXIT LIGHTS, SO WE'RE JUST HAVING TO PUT BRAND NEW ONES WITH THE SIDE THINGS WITH THE LITTLE BATTERY THING.

THAT'S ALL IT IS.

AND SO THEY'LL BE INSTALLING THOSE THIS WEEK.

UM, JUST BECAUSE HE'S BEEN BUSY AT WORK.

HE HADN'T BEEN DONE, BUT EVERY OTHER THING IS ALREADY DONE.

AND, AND LUX PLUMBING DID GO YESTERDAY, UM, JUST TO PUT THE 18 INCHES.

IT'S BEEN IN A CLOSET.

WE WERE TOLD THAT IT DIDN'T MATTER BY, BY LUX AND BY BY THE, UH, CENTER POINT ENERGY PERSON THAT WENT TO TURN THE GAS ON.

SO WE LET IT GO, BUT BECAUSE IT WAS ON THE LIST AGAIN, WE WENT AHEAD AND COMPLIED.

SO LUX DID GO AND THEY DID PULL THE PERMIT AND NOW IT'S 18, 18 INCHES ABOVE.

ALL THAT'S LEFT NOW IS FOR THE ELECTRICIAN TO GO AND PUT THE EXIT LIGHTS.

EVERY OTHER THING IN THE KITCHEN.

JERRY, THEY'VE ALL BEEN COVERED.

THE SINK WAS REMOVED FROM THE HALL.

WE'RE NEVER GONNA USE IT.

SO THERE'S NO OTHER WORK DONE NEEDED TO DO NOW, BUT THE ELECTRICIAN TO GO AND REDO THOSE, JUST SIX EX EXITS.

AND I BELIEVE THERE WAS ONE LIGHT THING ON THE VERY TOP TO JUST MAKE SURE THAT THEY DO PUT THE BULBS TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY HAVE LIGHTING.

AND I BELIEVE THAT'S, THAT'S IT.

WHAT, WHAT'S ON THAT LIST? WHAT YES.

NEEDS TO BE DONE? ONCE, ONCE THAT'S DONE AND THEY, THEN THEY WILL CALL US.

AS LONG AS THEY GOT THAT LIST, THAT'S, THEY'RE GOING TO BE GOOD TO GO.

WE WENT THROUGH THAT COMPLETE WHOLE PROPERTY THAT WHERE THEIR REPRESENTATIVE AND COMPILED THAT LIST.

AND THEY'VE GOT A COPY OF THE LIST.
